This is my personal project. I will translate the novela Bonsái from Spanish to English in this blog and each post will be a chapter. This involves a bit of creative license, since the original novela does not have numbered chapters, but rather passages of a few pages that simply end and then start again on a new page. In any case, I am calling them chapters in this context because it fits the format of a blog.

If you have a copy of Bonsái, I welcome you to translate along with me, to correct my translation or offer recommendations in the comments section of each chapter. (If you live in Santiago, you can buy this book at Takk, which is located in Drugstore.)

I am in no way affiliated with Mr. Zambra, though I hope he likes my work. I do not seek any monetary renumeration for their project and in return I ask that no one publish my translation for profit except, of course, in coordination with Mr. Zambra. I am publishing this translation because I just like translating and I like this book.
